My Review

It took me a while to get into this book, but I loved it in the end!

At first, I found the bickering between the main characters very annoying–could have slapped some sense into them if I could, especially Chance. But later into the story as I began to understand how deeply their hurts ran, it made perfect sense. It’s impossible to feel so wronged and not react that way. All the emotions kept and buried inside for so long a time, never whispered to another soul can be a major catalyst for anger and bitterness. But God is always faithful to lead His children into circumstances that will persuade them to face their problems, realize that anger and unforgiveness enslaves them, and that they can’t deal with it and overcome without His power, love and forgiveness. This was the case with Dakota and Chance.

This story dealt with issues like forgiveness and past hurts. Though it is fiction, I recommend it for anyone who has questions on these issues. A lovely and remarkable read!

*Although I offer this review to the public, it is my opinion and simply that. My thanks to the author, Cathy Bryant, for a free copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
