Interview ~ Chatting Moments with Author & Screenwriter, Michelle Onuorah!

Once, pinterest paired me with Laura Frantz as my author twin, a truly sweet woman whom I feel I don’t visit her page often enough (Hey Laura!). In some ways, I can understand why I was paired with Laura, as some of our writing principles are the same. But if I had another twin, it would be Michelle. Her work is one of the best I’v ever encountered. We are alike not only in writing, but in heart. I’m delighted to have Michelle visit TBAP again! It wasn’t so long ago that she stopped by during the tour of her wonderful book, Jane, which was an amazing read (You can catch up on my review of Jane here). In her last visit, Michelle told us how she became a rock star! Eh …ahem. Sorry! I mean to say “a bestselling author” (but don’t the two mean the same thing?). Whatever! Anyway, today, I’m going to introduce you to Michelle, so you, too, can know her better. I assure you, she’s quite charming! So fellas, follow …

Interview & Guestpost! ~ Filmmaker, Nadine Lee

Folks, not long ago, I discovered Nadine on twitter. She’s in the process of preparing for a project subsequent to the movie Wheeler. We chatted a little, and I really got interested in her project, as I’ve never seen or heard of the topic of ghosts handled in a Christian movie before. So I invited her over to talk about it a bit. Maybe it will pique your interest as it did mine? After her post, you can find our chat. Here’s Nadine!   Summary for Wheeler Do you believe in ghosts? Find out in this gripping supernatural suspense thriller who or what is responsible for killing patients in an old veteran hospital. Synopsis (Short version) Wheeler is a supernatural suspense thriller set in a VA hospital in the fictional town of Las Verdes in San Diego, California. Steven Crane, a lonely Iraq war veteran admitted for an infection of an old wound finds himself almost murdered in his hospital bed. He finds out the attempt on his life is not unusual for this hospital, …

About two weeks back, I interviewed Filmmaker, Sharon Wilharm, writer and director of the movie, The Good Book. A week later, I reviewed the movie. Today, I’m honored to interview Apolonia Davalos, the lead actress of the The Good Book, and a movie producer in her own right. Join us below!  Miranda ~ Hello Apolonia! Glad to have you at To Be A Person today! Could you please tell us a bit about yourself? Apolonia: I’m honored to be featured on To Be A Person! Thank you for welcoming me! I was born in Fairbanks, AK. I am the daughter of an Air Force Veteran, my Mother, who is my hero, guardian angel, and teacher of life. I’m the middle child who gets the best of both worlds of being the younger and older sister. Growing up, every two years our humble family (me, my mother, and my two sisters) relocated to a new area where we were called to serve our country, our community, and our church (Mom taught us that families serve). I am …

Interview ~ Christian Filmmaker, Sharon Wilharm of Faith Flix

It is my pleasure to introduce to you Sharon Wilharm, a Christian film producer/director. I first discovered Sharon when I followed a tweet that led to her website (and didn’t regret it!), and saw the wonderful work she was doing there. I later thought it would be nice to interview on To Be A Person. Please, join us below. Me: Hello Sharon! Thank you for visiting To Be A Person today. Could you please tell us a little bit about yourself. Sharon: I’m a former school teacher and freelance writer who married a communications major. We live in a 120-year-old house in a small Southern town and our only daughter got married last weekend. Me: Congrats on your daughter getting married! Much blessings to them! And, a 120-year old house? Cool! So, what made you go into Christian film as opposed to secular? Sharon: I take the parables of the talents very seriously. God blesses us with gifts and abilities and, it’s our responsibility to take those gifts and invest them in projects that will …
