Album Review – Simplicity by SongLab

Category Christian Genre Worship/Contemporary Rating 4 Stars Review There’s a subtle atmosphere to the music that leads a listener into a mode of worship and praise. The lyrics are beautifully designed and structured in a posture of surrender, humility, and awe for God’s love, holiness, and sovereignty. SongLab leaves no doubt about the sweetness of a relationship with Jesus Christ. Each song is a resounding testimony of the goodness of God and His faithfulness to each of His own. An anthem song to look out for in this EP is Hero, a number wholeheartedly dedicated to worshiping and praising God in utmost adoration simply because He is God. *Though I offer this review to the public, it’s my opinion and simply that. A ‘thank you’ to DREAM Label Group for a free copy in a exchange for my honest opinion.

Album Review ~ Who You Are By Northwood Worship

Category Religious/Christian Genre Urban/Electronic Pop/Praise/Worship Release Date October 25, 2019. Rating 4 Stars Review Who You Are opens with Bright, an anthem of faith and hope for a future that’s in God’s loving and powerful hands. The rhythms are paced beautifully with the instrumentals to allow them to be easily heard and followed. Nothing about the songs is in a rush or too slow; the emphasis is on the deep meaning—and the experience that comes with it—embedded in the seemingly simple lyrics. Who You Are is an album that portrays faith and hope for better days to come, by trusting, loving, and focusing on God and His unfailing love. Who You Are inspires absolute surrendering worship born from this certain hope that is evident in the lyrics and overall music. *Though I offer this review to the public, it is my opinion and simply that. Much appreciation to Lance Brown, GM & Senior Partner at DREAM Label Group, for a free copy in exchange for my honest opinion.  About Northwood Worship Northwood Worship is the …

Album Review ~ Revival Rising By Open Heaven

Category Religious/Christian Genre Classic/Urban Pop Rating 4 Stars Review Open Heaven’s Revival Rising vibes with the classic 70’s pop, and a bit of urban inserted here and there. The music is full of enthused singing and shouts of joy. The trumpeting gives off an aura of heavenly worship, as though painting a picture of things to come on the other side of glory. Open Heaven through Revival Rising, aims to lead God’s children to worship joyfully in an old fashioned sort of way that not only feels familiar in the classic music manner, but opens a new door for worship by celebrating God in such a style. In Revival Rising  Open Heaven courageously claims the 70’s classic pop and offers it to God, as all genres should be—because ALL music was created by and belong to God. We should worship Him in all forms of it. Revival Rising is a bold album with refreshing melody and joyful lyrics, done with heart. *Though I offer this review to the public, it is my opinion and simply …
