Article ~ Healed To Serve By Miranda A. Uyeh

“Now He [Jesus] arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s [Peter] house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her. So He [Jesus] stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately, she arose and served them. ” (Emphasis and parenthesis mine) —Luke 4:38-39 Nobody is a hundred percent perfect. Fact. Truth. Not even those of us who have come face to face with grace. What we do is live by grace through faith and extend this grace to others. God is constantly delivering us from something—on a spiritual level, emotional level or even physical. Some deliverances happen instantly. Others are a process whereby God gently (or even severely) and persuasively uncovers layer upon layer of issues that need to be confronted and dealt with at the right pace as they unfold. Whatever God is healing in you, He doesn’t mean it to end with you. There is a hope from heaven that the point of pain in you becomes the outlet …

Article ~ In Pace With God By Miranda A. Uyeh

“So it was always: the cloud covered it [tabernacle] by day, and the appearance of fire by night. Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, after that the Children of Israel would journey; and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would pitch their tents. At the command of the Lord the Children of Israel would journey, and at the command of the Lord they would camp; as long as the cloud stayed above the tabernacle they remained encamped. Even when the cloud continued long, many days above the tabernacle, the Children of God kept the charge of the Lord and did not journey. So it was, when the cloud was above the tabernacle a few days: according to the command of the Lord they would remain encamped, and according to the command of the Lord, they would journey. So it was, when the cloud remained only from evening until morning: when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they would journey; whether by day …

Article ~ I Am Samson (Part 2) – The Power of God’s Redeeming Grace

“Come boldly to the Throne of Grace and obtain mercy and grace in your time of need.” —Hebrews 4:16 Samson is named in what is popularly referred to as the “Hall of Faith” in Hebrews 11. While the first few names were listed along with the events in which their faith travailed, other names that followed were simply mentioned; Samson was one name in the latter group. Some people often wonder why Samson is called a hero of faith—Didn’t his story end tragically? How could such a tragic tale be inspiring to anyone? Well, Samson is listed as a hero because his faith highlighted the depths that God’s redeeming grace, which yearns to restore man, could reach no matter how deep the pit of despair and destruction. It’s astounding that despite the horrors that happened to Samson because of continued complacency, he dared to have the bold faith that would lead him to pray to God and say, “O Lord, God, remember me…” This speaks of a person who’d known God on a deeply …

Article ~ Yes And Amen

It has often been said that God answers in three ways—No, Yes, and Wait. But have you ever wondered about the dynamics behind “Yes” and “Wait”? I like to say that “wait” is a form of “yes.” But what about telling the difference between a “No” and a “Wait.” How can you tell when you should give up or wait for something in faith? The Holy Spirit does NOT mislead anyone. If the answer is “no,” He will shut the door, comfort your soul, inspire you to trust His leadership, and then lead you toward another direction by opening another door. The one thing He will NEVER do is, “string” you along. When it is a “wait” answer, you’ll discover that every time you want to give up praying for that particular thing, there’d be a stirring in your heart and soul inspiring you not to. Signs and messages from within and outside you will come along at just the right time so that you’ll never lose hope. That’s a “wait” answer. Question. How quickly …

A Love Letter to the One Who Despairs that They Found Jesus Late in Life

Dear Beloved, I hope this letter meets you well and that you woke up today to see the beautiful smile of the sun, which reflects God’s love for you, His delight in you, and His desire and promise to fellowship intimately with you (Revelations 21:22-27). Did you know that each day is a gift to you BECAUSE He isn’t finished with you YET? If He were, then there’d be no Today. “Today” is a context for a special gift that God has given to each individual for their unique circumstance. Scripture says that Today is the day of salvation (Hebrews 3:7-15; 4:7). What this means is that, the moment you encounter the truth that sets you free, whether it’s the truth that frees you from a life of unbelief to one of new birth and faith, or one that sets you free from a lifestyle of bondage to one of new-found liberty, that moment of truth—that day—is the day to accept the salvation being offered. You should accept your gift of freedom today, and …
