Movie Review ~ A Question of Faith By Silver Line Entertainment

Category Religious/Christian Genre Tragedy/Faith/Drama Lifetime Debut (for Easter) April 12, 2020 (8pm, ET/PT) Rating 4 Stars Review A Question of Faith presents three families that meet unexpectedly at a crossroad through an unexpected event that is shocking and sorrowful, but ultimately by divine providence, leads to comfort, hope, forgiveness, revelation and restoration. Issues hinging on priority such as family, work, and others such as racism, health, justice and a side dish of romance, came together to round up the theme of the story nicely, so that each was a touch enough, but not overdone. While bits of the conversation appeared sermonized, that did not ruin the movie’s excellent delivery. In the end, A Question of Faith showcased the reality of a question that every believer must face when tragedy strikes—“Will you continue to trust God?” *Though I offer this review to the public, it is my opinion and simply that. Much appreciation to Epic Inc. for a private link to view the movie in exchange for my honest opinion.  About Silver Lining Entertainment Silver Lining Entertainment …

The very principles that stood as the foundation of your faith and protected the world you live in are falling apart right before your eyes and, you’re more confused and frustrated than ever before. Besides, where’s that breakthrough you were so darn sure was just around the corner anyway? Could it be that those things you believed aren’t true after all? And that the promises you heard God whisper to your spirit—the very ones that no one knows about, but you and God—were …

~ Why I Believe In Christian Fiction ~

Parables. That’s why. And what are parables? Simply defined, they are earthly stories with heavenly/spiritual meanings. Jesus used them most of the time to teach His disciples and the crowd of people that constantly gathered around Him. And it achieved two things: To those who cared to listen and had the heart to obey, it presented the Word of God in a simple and more comprehensive way, so that what was a difficult teaching at the time, became easier to grasp. To those who were rebellious at heart, parables portably kept the meanings of Jesus’ teaching hidden from them so that it became their stumbling block, further confusing, angering and frustrating them. No matter the case, parables always did one thing: speak the truth. By using parables, Jesus put in them the power of the Word so that upon hearing, the heart of a man/woman could be convicted and their spirits healed if they chose the truth. Parables were a mighty vessel that Jesus used to pour out salvation, deliverance and healing. He often used …
