Entertainment Scoop! Interview with Doc Benson

I came to learn of Doc Benson, first, through movie director and producer, Sharon Wilharm, and then later, when I heard of his acclaimed film, Seven Deadly Words. Doc, as well as other professionals, later became a guest on TBAP’s 2016 Easter Fiesta, which was fantastic! Today, I have the pleasure of interviewing him. Learn more about Doc Benson in our chat below! Miranda ~ Hello Doc! Honored to have you visit TBAP today. Could tell us a bit about yourself? Doc: Glad to be here!  Let’s see… I started off in Railroad Management and made the switch to media and ministry in the early 1990’s. I penned articles for international magazines such as Trains, Countryside, ASG, The Officer, and various newspapers across America, and won the award for TOP COLUMNIST by the West Virginia Press Association. When it comes to video media, I worked as a CBS television affiliate producer, writing the news each day and appearing on air in various segments, including the coverage of the events of 9/11. Later, I served as …

Actor Scoop! ~ Interview with Alexa Jansson

A few weeks ago, I reviewed the wonderful movie, Fragile World. Today, I’m interviewing its lead actress, Chloe ‘Alexa Jansson’ Russell. Follow our chat below and learn more about this lovely lady! Miranda ~ Hello Alexa! Delighted to have you here at TBAP. Could you please tell us a bit about yourself? Chloe Alexa ~ Delighted to get your invite!  I’m an actress from Ohio, living in Los Angeles. I’ve been acting professionally since 2003.  Besides acting, I love animals, music, and dancing.  I’ve been eating vegan for the past 9 months.  I see it as a ‘thank you’ to all the animals who’ve supported my health so far. I also don’t want to support some of the cruel factory farm practices.  I’m not saying all farms are cruel.  I had ACL reconstruction of my knee in April from a dancing injury.  All the new muscle I’ve built since my surgery has been from plant-based protein. I’m kinda proud of that.  I also like to make sculpture.  Lately, I’ve been making large, sculptural birthday cakes with …

Still on promoting the movie, Providence, I’m glad to welcome actress, Juli Tapken, on TBAP! She’s delightful, sweet, and very friendly (so glad we’re facebook buddies, too!) Without much ado, I invite you to join us in the conversation below:   Miranda: Hello Juli! Wonderful to have you visit TBAP today. Could tell us a bit about yourself?  Juli – I’m just a regular girl. I’m a 40-year old wife, and mother to one son. My family is my heartbeat and, they go everywhere I go. We are on this journey together. We are truly going for this thing for Him (God). I have been involved in many missions throughout my life, and have never felt more called to anything more so than I do this mission of going out there to minister in this incredibly difficult industry. We are fully committed to this. My husband, Jeff, is my manager and handler. We home school our son, and teach him to follow God’s call on his life, and that we are all gifted and prepared …

Interview ~ Chatting Moments with Author & Screenwriter, Michelle Onuorah!

Once, pinterest paired me with Laura Frantz as my author twin, a truly sweet woman whom I feel I don’t visit her page often enough (Hey Laura!). In some ways, I can understand why I was paired with Laura, as some of our writing principles are the same. But if I had another twin, it would be Michelle. Her work is one of the best I’v ever encountered. We are alike not only in writing, but in heart. I’m delighted to have Michelle visit TBAP again! It wasn’t so long ago that she stopped by during the tour of her wonderful book, Jane, which was an amazing read (You can catch up on my review of Jane here). In her last visit, Michelle told us how she became a rock star! Eh …ahem. Sorry! I mean to say “a bestselling author” (but don’t the two mean the same thing?). Whatever! Anyway, today, I’m going to introduce you to Michelle, so you, too, can know her better. I assure you, she’s quite charming! So fellas, follow …
